The combination of this particularly narrow guide bar with the small-link 3/8" Picco Micro Mini 3 saw chain, or the 1/4" Picco Micro 3 (designed especially for cordless chainsaws and the MS 150 / MS150 T). Offers considerable savings in weight coupled with improved cutting performance. Like all STIHL guide bars, it is made of high-grade chrome molybdenum steel.

The body of this lightweight bar is made up of three steel plates which have been largely hollowed out and electrically welded together. The open areas are filled with glass fibre reinforced polyamide. The result is a weight saving of up to 30% (for a 40 cm /16" bar) compared with conventional bars.

The STIHL Rollomatic ES (STIHL Ematic Super) is composed of a solid and particuarly rigid bar with a bar nose which can be replaced entirely. It is therefore ideal for most demanding professional tasks and is used chiefly on heavy duty machines for felling and bucking. Elliptically fomed, angled oil holes increase the flow speed of the chain oil, delivering optimal lubrication and even longer service life for the guide bar.
